Jun Zhou

I am a first-year PhD student in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Columbia University, advised by Prof. James Anderson. My research interests lie in world models, learning-based control, and optimization. I am particularly interested in how learned models of dynamical systems can support reliable planning and feedback control.

Previously, I received my master's degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) under the supervision of Prof. Ye Yuan. I have also been fortunate to conduct research under the guidance of Prof. Jun Liu at the University of Waterloo and Prof. John W. Simpson-Porco at the University of Toronto.
